Many of you will be familiar with Local Fox cider, which was The Orchard Project’smission to reduce food waste across London. Their new partnership with carbon-negative cidery Hawkes will continue turning surplus apples into cider, as well as enabling more people across the UK to support our work simply by buying a pint of cider! You can donate your spare apples at locations across the capital until 18th October.

Hawkes have launched a new chapter in our journey to plant and preserve community orchards across our urban landscapes.

Our cider team has changed its food-waste reduction mission. Through a new partnership with well-established, carbon-negative cidery, Hawkes, the apple donation scheme we previously ran in London is now able to expand nationally. On top of that, you’ll be able to donate to us and support the preservation of orchards, just by buying a pint of cider! How’s that for a win-win? Read on to find out more.
