With 15 Kingston Blacks planted last winter and masses of apples on my 6 dessert & cooking apple trees, and neighbours with more apples than they know what to do with, I am looking for a press & crusher suited to a serious amateur. Some of you going pro may want to move on some kit that you have outgrown. I am thinking in terms of a 40 litre barrel type press or an 80 kilo rack & cloth type but I am open to suggestions.
I live in Dorset.

If you've got the transport, you could do a lot worse than to look in France. I'd suggest http://www.eBay.fr or http://www.leboncoin.fr. If you're lucky, you may find what you want for a great deal less then you'd pay in the UK!

I'm still looking for a moderately priced press (in excess of 20L capacity) & scratter within the UK - I would also consider any ancilliary fermentation kit such as hydrometers, vessels, etc. but the press is my first priority.

EB I have a home made scratter, based on the one on UK Cider site one.
Will be selling it. Let me know if interested. It's made 185 gallons this year.....! Works a treat. Reason upgrade in capacity.Cheers,
