The owners are looking to get rid of a lot of their nursery apple trees. If you collect they are charging £5 per tree to cover costs. This is very cheap for trees of this age. As mentioned we've recently purchased 15 acres of ex nursey land from Scotts Nurseries, on which is planted a variety of trees, mainly fruit trees (the majority of which are currently 6-8 feet tall). We are looking for them to be cleared this winter (or at least the majority of them) so please feel free to pass my details on to anyone who might be interested. I understand that there are a number of local, old fashioned varieties.
