Hi bob! Congrats on the good batch!
I made my first cider last fall, from a friend who has an orchard. 50 L , in
2 buckets. One was plain, To the other batch we added frozen raspberries.
We used champagne yeast. It is great but super dry so some don't like it. We
didnt use any added sugar but the apple juice was so sweet it came out to
around 7% ABV
This time we might try 4 X 25L batches. One with ale yeast to try get it a
little sweeter. One with White labs english cider yeast. Maybe some
different fruit or fruit syrup. Cherry? more rasbperry?
good luck
John

I have to say I have always been a big fan of Yarlington Mill, especially the tipple made by Gwatkins (http://www.gwatkincider.co.uk)

Fantastic aroma, great colour and full, crisp flavour, just like a real cider should be!

There is also a Gwnyt y Ddraig bottled blend which is very nice too!

What cider are you currently enjoying?
