Double screw cider press for sale. Beautiful example of a 19th century cast iron screw press, rare find in a herefordshire cider barn. Oak all replaced professionally, comes complete. Huge, 2m high when fully extended. At £1000 would suite a budding professional looking to grow, or a community cider circle. wonderful vintage bit of kit. i will email photos on request.

this is great news Toom!

I know that the Wetherspoons team take great pride in sourcing local ciders and perries to the area as well. It means the customers can learn and enjoy the fruity delights in where they live..

Particularly the people of South Wales, there are some delicious ones there..

thanks for taking the time to post on the forum :)

There's a festival at Wetherspoons pubs from 21 - 31 July. The range of ciders will vary from pub to pub, but in the Tom Toya Lewis pub in Newport (Gwent)they had 9 draught ciders and 3 bottled. I had a pint of Sheppy's, Devon Farmhouse Scrumpy and Thatcher's Traditional (medium), each seved by gravity straight from the barrel, and each wonderful and refreshing. Recommended.

Hi Stacey,

Where abouts is your event? as its always good to recommend local cider and perry makers.

If you want to order a bulk amount may I recommend - http://www.buycider.co.uk.

The Hallet's cider from Wales, and Mr Whitehead's from Hampshire are always crowd pleasers!

Great! I've seen this post with delay, sorry. I am very interested about it, I've written an e-mail to you in which I explain better my interest and my possibilities as far as concern the free time. So I expect your answer with a great expectation.

However my best period to come to work there is after july because of the exams of university.
For now I've finished the production of my cider: 11 liter, now I am more and more enthusiast about it.

Thank you very much, your offer sounds very interesting for me.

Hello everyone! I write from Cuneo, a little city of northern Italy which has got a good tradition in cultivating apple because of his climate and his altitude.
I'm wondering if tomorrow I will be able to bring here the art of cider making, I mean: we have got a lot of ancient variety of apple and good condition for growing apple...There would be a possibility to bring here the art of real cider maker!
I've allready made a couple of time the Cider and it has been good, but when I taste a cider made in a country with the tradition of these is something different...
My question is this: I want to become a cider maker, I've got some field where I will grow the best apple for this but the best I will learn this art the better I will make my future on this.

Please take care about this, is my dream but It will be able to become reality if I will spend an experience in a real-cider mill... Thanks
