We all know that there is a wine to go with every type of food – from a dry crisp white with fish, to a full-bodied red with dark meat.

But did you know that cider goes just as well with food?

Whether a well-rounded cider, or a lighter, crisper variety produced from dessert apples, why not plan your Christmas celebrations this year with some delicious ciders!

Here are our recommendations to accompany your Christmas Day Celebrations.

  • An aperitif of Thatcher’s Katy Rosé served chilled in champagne flutes. Top with a strawberry and fresh mint for an extra special touch.
  • A single varietal Kingston Black makes the perfect accompaniment to Christmas Pudding.
  • Let an Organic cider join your Christmas Dinner table – this light, refreshing cider will accompany your Roast Turkey perfectly.
  • Round off with some real Somerset Cider Brandy, or Calvados.

Be careful not to overchill the ciders as you will not get the full aroma and taste.
